Dr. Simon Tonat
Managing Director Consulting & Advisory
My service journey started straight after school. As part of a dual study program, I was able to get to know the service department at Siemens Healthineers in various roles. It was the beginning of a love story that continues to this day. This was followed by a few more service stations before ServiceLobby. A service start-up and several positions at TRUMPF, from establishing lean management in service to service product management and operational responsibility for the development of EMEA services. During this last station, I researched the internationally very heterogeneous preferences of service customers as part of my doctorate. The last station before ServiceLobby was my time in Roland Berger's Service Excellence Practice, which I left as a Junior Partner at the beginning of 2022.
In my private life, I am a very down-to-earth guy. Married, 2 children and an apartment in tranquil Reutlingen at the foot of the Swabian Alb. I like traveling, am interested in foreign cultures and really enjoy working with people on tricky problems.
As a key initiator of ServiceLobby, my role is to build up a powerful team and continuously develop it further. I am also responsible for our Consulting & Advisory division and for developing consulting approaches that achieve demonstrable and, above all, sustainable results for our clients. It is important to me personally that we continue to develop ServiceLobby into a platform that enables as many service managers as possible to reach the next level with their service units. That's what I'm passionate about.
