Ingo Hoffmann
Director Pro-Ecosystems & New Business
After completing my dual degree in industrial engineering, I held several positions in the international purchasing and development environment and obtained an MBA in General Management while working.
The attraction of new things and service drew me to the Aftersales department at STIHL. There I was able to play a key role in developing the aftermarket strategy and the future direction of the service business. I was initially responsible for realigning the processes for creating service documentation and the digital spare parts catalog. I was also responsible for the introduction of value-driver-based pricing for spare parts & accessories, the establishment of a global business development organization and the expansion of global portfolio management.
I am currently responsible for the business unit strategy of the STIHL professional customer segment. Shape the path to the future in the form of ecosystem strategies with new business potential and coordinate measures and initiatives for the future positioning of STIHL from product to solution provider for professional customers.
As a member of the ServiceLobby advisory board, I support the team with my knowledge of B2D2X and B2B business models, strategic expertise and global product management of hardware, software and services.
